In the absence of reoxygenation, the radiation effect appeared to decrease due to SLDR in vivo. Reoxygenation took place within 5 min of radiation interruption in SCCVII tumors. The growth delay experiment suggested that SLDR could decrease the radiation effect under conditions of limited reoxygenation.
