The EPID and Rodeo 1.1 package is able to detect isocenter misalignments with 0.2mm accuracy, i.e, about the repeatability found for the film method. This method can be considered a valid one due to the fact that the Bland-Altman analysis depicts small bias values when comparing with the film based technique. Also, the limits of agreement are comparables to the inter-observer differences observed in the film case.
In conclusion, this study emphasises the benefit of using EPID-Rodeo 1.1 in evaluating the isocenter alignment and at the same time supposes a saving of time and not observer-dependence in relation to the old film procedure.
